Project Overview
This project is dedicated to conserving biodiversity across three areas—Canadá II, Recife II, and Riachuelo—in the state of Acre, Brazil. It focuses on preserving vital natural resources, including flora, soil, fauna, and water, while actively working to strengthen the social and environmental resilience of local communities. Through a holistic approach, the initiative aims to balance ecological preservation with meaningful social impact, promoting sustainability and fostering long-term harmony between nature and the communities.
Impact
Conservation Metrics
The three areas within Seringais provide not only ecosystem services related to carbon storage but also offer significant biodiversity and environmental co-benefits. These benefits enhance the value of the biome's conservation assets on the property. This is supported by the presence of rich species diversity—including endemic and endangered species—the advanced stage of forest regeneration, and the well-preserved condition of the ecosystem. Additionally, these areas play a vital role in supporting local communities.
